Yesterday iThe Chinese government has presented a document that contains rules to regulate the use of generative artificial intelligences, or those capable of producing texts and images, such as ChatGPT and MidJourney. Last April, the Cyberspace administration of China had already presented a draft of the regulation: compared to the initial document, the new text provides for a slight easing of the requirements for companies in the sector and the confirmation of Beijing’s willingness to “encourage the use innovation of AI in all sectors”.
