Tescreal, the new acronym in vogue in the philosophical and political debate on AI

The acronym stands for “transhumanism, extropianism, singularitanism, cosmism, rationalism, effective altruism and long-termism”, a long string of -isms that are giving rise to a new ideology in Silicon Valley

There is a word that occurs more and more often in technological discussions and has come to sum up a new current of thought that is sweeping the upper floors of Silicon Valley, in the boards of directors and in discussions on Twitter. Wherever there is talk of artificial intelligence, in particular, and of their future, the word peeps out, and less and less timidly. Recently too Marc Andressenfounder of the very powerful investment company a16z, defined himself using this new term, to certify its symbolic power.
