Off-site vote: times are getting longer, the opposition protests. That is why the proposal is in danger of failing

The majority rejoices, the opposition mounts the barricades. The discussion on the off-site vote – among the few measures that united all political forces – ends in tussle. The center-right presents itself in the Constitutional Affairs commission and empties the provision of the oppositions on supervised early voting, transforming it into a delegation to the government. So it starts all over again. Instead of continuing the examination of the text of the oppositions, the measure – now modified by the majority – is limited to sending the ball into the field of the executive, which will have to issue the legislative decrees within 18 months.
