A sentence by Meloni, among those used to list the various “successes” of the government, is most striking on the day of the pre-council of ministers which made changes to the draft decree on the minister’s regional autonomy Robert Calderoli, a text that will be voted on by the CDM on 1 February. “We wanted to establish the principle that every citizen, every municipality, every territory must have the same attention”, clarified the prime minister. A sort of warning to the exponents of the Carroccio. As if to reiterate, in short, that the citizens of Northern and Southern Italy have the same rights.

Then, rattling off what her government has done, the premier in the video lists the various measures one by one, from the fight against the mafia to controls on the territories, up to funding for the recruitment of the police forces and sentence “we have imprinted a change of pace to the fight against illegality, and then the decree on the rescue of migrants by NGOs (“with the fight against illegal immigration we have begun to defend our borders from human traffickers”). But Meloni also mentions the support of the Italy to Ukraine up to the Mattei plan for Africa “With the battle, won, for a European ceiling on the price of gas, we have contributed to defending Italy’s energy security”, recalled the prime minister.
