The shareholders’ meetings of the companies Rfi (Rete Ferroviaria Italiana), Trenitalia and Mercitalia Logistics, wholly controlled by Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane, met on 19 May to appoint new boards of directors. For the three-year period 2023-2025, Rfi elected Dario Lo Bosco as president and Gianpiero Strisciuglio as managing director, leaving the previous position to Mercitalia Logistics.
Trenitalia
Trenitalia, on the other hand, elected Stefano Cuzzilla as the new president of the company for the same three-year period, thus leaving the previous position of member of the board of administration of the Italian State Railwaysand confirmed Luigi Corradi in the role of managing director.
Mercitalia Logistics
Finally, Mercitalia Logistics has appointed Sabrina De Filippis as director and managing director, taking the place of the outgoing Gianpiero Strisciuglio. De Filippis has left his position as Trenitalia regional business director. The managing directors of all three companies will have all the operational powers.
