ROME. From the Cinecittà project to satellites, from nursery schools to the railways: there are ten intermediate objectives of the fourth installment modified by the control room on the Pnrr. Six ministries are involved: Enterprise and Made in Italy, Infrastructure and Transport, Environment, Education, Culture and Cohesion Policies. The project on the development of the film industry changes only the name of the implementing entity, from Istituto Luce Studios to Cinecittà.

The investment in satellite technology has been redefined according to market developments to avoid overlaps with private investment in the Internet of Things, based on small satellites. Furthermore, an error of the Earth Observatory project is corrected, because the incubator of Southern Italy is not part of the Pnrr but in the complementary fund.

The third change concerns kindergartens, and does not remove funding but asks for more time to issue other notices.

The fourth concerns the renewal of the regional transport railway fleet and intends to clarify the composition of trains and carriages to be purchased.

The fifth intervenes on the experimentation of hydrogen for railway mobility, in light of the unsuccessful tenders.

The sixth concerns energy efficiency. Since the contribution to the green transition of the Sismabonus is not clear, in agreement with the services of the Commission, the government has agreed to increase the objective of the Ecobonus. The proposed amendment also allows reporting on the installation of gas-fired condensing boilers to replace less efficient boilers.

The seventh change allows the government to launch new tenders for columns in extra-urban areas, the first ones having been deserted.

The eighth clarifies that “No natural gas shall be used for the production of hydrogen for use in the direct reduction of iron.”

The ninth revises the thresholds for notices of intervention projects against educational poverty in the South in support of the third sector.

Finally, the tenth modifies the description of the investment objective ‘Creation of women’s businesses’, also eliminating the reference to specific financial instruments to support women’s businesses.
