The final sentence of Patrick Zaki was canceled by the presidential pardon. When Giorgia Meloni said she still had faith in a positive solution, she met a wall of distrust from the left. Elly Schlein had sarcastically asked the government to 'strike a blow' and to Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani to "report to the Chambers", as one does to underline a failure by the majority. Instead, the diplomatic plot that had been woven without clamor contributed, probably in a decisive way, to allowing the release of the student, now a graduate, of the University of Bologna.
