Waiting for the oppositions request to be formalized e Daniela Santanche present himself in the Chamber (as also hoped for by the premier Melons) to reply to the allegations of the investigation of Reports on his management of the Visibilia and Ki group companies (at the center of an investigation by the Milan prosecutors who are investigating, among other things, unpaid employee severance indemnities, capital gains and unpaid suppliers), in less than 24 hours 12,000 signatures have already been collected in the online petition calling for the resignation of the Minister of Tourism. To report it is Angelo Bonellideputy of the Green and Left Alliance and co-spokesman of Green Europe: “We will reach 100,000 signatures in the next few days, we will continue until the minister leaves office”.

Meanwhile, there is controversy over the sentence of the deputy prime minister Antonio Tajani who, in an interview with Messenger, he declared: “I am a guarantor, one is innocent up to the third degree of judgement. Therefore Santanchè must not resign, he has already clarified and if he wants to appear in Parliament it is his choice ”. Words against which he rails Riccardo Magi, secretary of Più Europa: “Tajani don’t make fun of us, the point is political. After the opposition and majority forces and even Forza Italia ask the minister to report in the courtroom, the foreign minister cannot close his eyes and say ‘for me you have already clarified’. There is Parliament, and it is there that the ministers must clarify, not on TV or in summer lounges”.

The letter to the Court of Auditors on the Minenna case

In addition to the Santanchè case, the investigation into the political scene dominates Marcellus Minenna, the former director of the Customs Agency, current councilor for the environment of the Calabria Region and former councilor of the Municipality of Rome, arrested in the context of the investigation into corruption for the open Covid masks of the Forlì prosecutor’s office. Minenna is also accused of having distributed luxury cars seized by the Guardia di Finanza to various personalities “as a persuasion tool to gain accreditation and receive reconfirmations. For this reason Bonelli sent a letter to the Court of Auditors “to verify whether the procedures for assigning these cars to politicians and other subjects has not caused tax damage to the State. All in reference to article 36 of law 113/2018 which provides for the sale of these assets and that the sums obtained go to feed the justice fund to also finance the activity of the police”.
