Flavio Cattaneo at Enel
Flavio Cattaneo is the new CEO of Enel, the Italian energy company. Cattaneo has a long career as a manager, which began in the real estate sector, and has already held important roles in companies such as Rai and Terna. Alongside him in the leadership of Enel will be Paolo Scaroni, a well-known manager and company executive, who has already led important public companies listed on the stock exchange such as Eni. Claudio Descalzi has been reconfirmed as CEO of Eni, the Italian energy company, for the fourth consecutive term. He joined the company in 1981 and held various positions until he became director of the geographical area of Africa, the Middle East and China in 2000. Leonardo’s board is supported by Stefano Pontecorvo, diplomat and ambassador to Pakistan and senior civilian representative of NATO in Afghanistan, and Leonardo’s board of directors also includes Elena Vasco, Enrica Giorgetti, Francesco Macrì, Trifone Altieri, Cristina Manara and Marcello Sala.
Matteo Del Fante at Poste Italiane
Matteo Del Fante will continue to cover the role of CEO of Poste Italiane, confirming the choice of continuity. Silvia Rovere will be the president of the company. Del Fante has work experience in JPMorgan Chase, Cassa depositi e prestiti, Terna and Poste Italiane, while Rovere has a successful career in AssoImmobiliare and has a great passion for yoga. On the board of directors of Poste Italiane, together with Del Fante and Rovere, there are also other members from various entrepreneurial and institutional realities.
Giuseppina Di Foggia to Terna
Giuseppina Di Foggia will be the new CEO of Terna, becoming the first woman to hold this role in a large public company listed on the Stock Exchange. Currently at the helm of Nokia Italia, Di Foggia has a degree in Electronic Engineering and a master’s degree in Professional Program Management. Igor De Biasio, on the other hand, will become the new vice president of Terna, after having been part of the board of directors of Rai in Lega share. The list of members of the board of directors will be formally filed by 14 April in view of the meeting on 9 May.

The director of Radio Rai, Roberto Sergio, could soon become the new managing director of Rai: the appointment could take place as early as Friday during the shareholders’ meeting followed by the board of directors.
