The turnover of lobbying companies is growing: organized interests want to make their weight felt. A good thing, says the Corporative: politics is not enough. Beware of the looming dangers, replies the Politician

Lobbying companies are a sector that knows no crisis. Their turnover has exploded. In the history of republican Italy, dozens of bills have been presented to regulate the sector. None came through. In 2017, the Ministry of Economic Development introduced a public register to ensure transparency, in which about 600 companies signed up, some to make their voices heard directly, others to make them heard through their representatives. This is the signal that organized interests want to make their weight felt.
