The digital innovation curve is growing, the regulation one is lagging behind

The small homelands against the global technoeconomics. Already a few years ago Natalino Irti he had warned about the scenario that we would find ourselves facing: “On the one hand, the provinces of the earth, the small homelands, custodians of differences, unmistakable in terms of language, customs, traditions. Here the power of the border is in force, which limits and circumscribes, includes and excludes, separates the inside from the outside (…) In contrast to the places on the earth, defined and enclosed, stands the planetary dimension of the techno-economy”. It is this one clash that we see repeating itself, especially if we look at the increasingly widespread attempts to stem the influence of digital technologies, in the political processes of various countries of the world.
