Worse than Meloni’s autoplot is only the ANM conspiracy

A government against democracy, an enemy of the Constitution, an accomplice of the mafia, an ally of Gelli. Connect the dots. And worry

Worse than the ridiculous self-plot of politics there is only the dangerous conspiracy of the magistrates. Last week, the government majority clumsily denounced the presence of a notorious “siege” of the judiciary aimed at weakening the executive. The ways in which the majority reported the incident are the ones you know. First, the diffusion of a tissue attributable to Palazzo Chigi was authorized (“Chigi sources say that”). Then some ministers were authorized to speak on the issue (“the investigations against us are suspect,” Minister Lollobrigida told this newspaper). Finally, it was the Prime Minister, Giorgia Meloni, who legitimized the content of the tissue paper (which tissue accused a part of the judiciary of “playing an active opposition role”), however, suggesting that the most suspicious judicial case, the one for so to speak “most political” among the various with which the majority is dealing with, is the one concerning Undersecretary Delmastro. “I believe – Meloni said – that the judge should not replace the prosecutor by formulating the charge when the prosecutor does not intend to exercise the criminal action”. On the Foglio, we defined the siege evoked by the majority as a joke. As something more like a self-plot than a conspiracy. And the way in which the president of the Senate, Ignazio La Russa, has chosen to handle the case of his son accused of sexual violence demonstrates that the self-plot of the majority is increasingly a topic on the agenda (once the interrogation is completed of guarantee made to his son, President La Russa should perhaps question himself to understand whether denying the investigation into his son’s SIM card registered to the President of the Senate is a way to help his son or a way to transform the investigation into an affair of state ). A week after the messy evocation of the siege, the scene in front of which we find ourselves today looks very much like a “self fulfilling prophecy”: a self-fulfilling prophecy.
