What remains of the real Nordio?

A little over seven months have passed since the Keeper of the Seals Charles Nordio he illustrated his programmatic lines in Parliament. A guaranteed revolution: reform of the prosecution process, separation of careers between prosecutors and judges, strengthening of the presumption of innocence, contrast to the abuse of preventive detention, reform of wiretapping, review of crimes against the public administration, alternative penalties to prison. Seven months have passed and very little of this vast program has been achieved. To be precise, nothing, if not a first “package” of proposals.
