The scientific committee

The new text also establishes that with a decree of the Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, with charges borne by the concessionary company, up to a maximum of 500 thousand euros per year, a Scientific Committee is set up, which: performs technical consultancy tasks , also for the purpose of supervising and directing the technical design activities; operates according to principles of autonomy and independence; expresses, in particular, an opinion to the Board of Directors of the company regarding the definitive and executive project of the work and the variants; it is made up of 9 members, chosen from individuals with adequate specialization and experience; by virtue of an integration made in the referring office, the choice of members is made in agreement with the regions of Calabria and Sicily which
they express themselves within fifteen days of the request for the agreement

Restart of programming and design activities

The work is included in the Infrastructure Annex of the DEF, with indication of the estimated cost, available resources and residual needs and provides for the presentation of a report on the final project of the work on which the Board of Directors is called to express its opinion of the dealership. At the end of the report approval procedure by the concessionary company, the preliminary services conference takes place on the definitive project and on the report in question. Furthermore, the procedural methods for assessing the environmental impact on the final project are specified and the deeds and documents submitted for approval by CIPESS (Interministerial Committee for Economic Planning and Sustainable Development) and the resulting results are also indicated from the final determination of the CIPESS, in matters of urban planning and expropriation, construction sites for the work and approval of the executive project and, as specified in the reference office, of the relative variants

The communication plan
