The prosecutor has asked for the indictment of former prime minister Matteo Renzi, Luca Lotti, Maria Elena Boschi, Marco Carrai and Alberto Bianchi, together with some entrepreneurs and four companies, under investigation for various reasons of illegal party financing, corruption, money laundering and trafficking in illicit influences. At the end of the hearing, the deputy prosecutor Luca Turco approached the visibly annoyed Renzi, showing the interview that the leader of Italia viva had given to “La Stampa” during the day. Renzi replied, in the presence of lawyers and insiders, saying: “And now what is he doing? Are you also trying me for my interviews? I repeat that I do not trust her.
