In the salmon-colored building in Corso d’Italia where the red CGIL is based, many take for granted the return, within a year or so, of Serena Sorrentino. Destination of the confederal secretariat, to then prepare the climb to the top, in place of Maurizio Landini, when – by 2027 – the current secretary general decides to leave and can no longer be re-elected.
