Against “globalism”, “single thought”, alternating between school and work (“multinationals exploit young people”. On the site there is no reference to fascism or to the Brothers of Italy

Against globalization, against the “single thought”, against the gender theory: le slogans of the social right and they have been a long time also those of the Brothers of Italy, are the same ones to which Azione Studentesca refers: we are talking about the youth movement which became the protagonist of the attack against some students in front of a high school on Saturday morning in Florence. Officially there is no affiliation between Giorgia Meloni’s party and Student Action but the osmosis between the political battles of one and the other is clear.

The trouble is that Student Action on Saturday morning crossed the Rubicon of violence physics. But where do right-wing activists come from? now denounced by Digos Florentine? Student action was born as “cantera” youth policy of the National Alliancebut let’s talk about the years between 2000. Since 2009 the acronym has been eclipsed to be refounded in 2016: takes the Breton cross as its symbol (and not the Celtic one) and marries the themes of the sovereignty, of national identityof the social right. The field of action of the resurrected formation is precisely that of high school and university where Student Action manages to get its activists elected in the representative bodies institutes and universities, provincial councils. Florence – and the self-managed social center Casaggìnational headquarters of AS – become one of the strongholds of the right-wing youth movement.

All the campaigns in which the activists have launched appear on the Azione Studentesche website: cagainst school-work alternation (“Students are exploited by companies, without security and professional growth: an absurd system, which does not value us and sometimes kills us. We don’t want to be the slaves of multinationals”); against the “single thought” and in particular against “the school as a place of indoctrination ( targets of the controversy are, for example, Greta Thunberg’s “Fridays for future” movement and the “gender theory”: slogan: «There are only males and females»). In the recent past, Azione Studentesca has also stood out for its positions in favor of Assad’s Syriaagainst the restrictions due to Covid, against “Black Lives Matter” (“Let’s stand” was the slogan adopted on the occasion).

The contents of the site also shine for two «absences»: no explicit nostalgic reference to fascism, no links to sites or contents of the Brothers of Italy.
