While the process of approving the Pnrr decree law slows down in the Senate Budget Committee, the case for recruitment in the Public Administration breaks out. More critical is Alberto Bagnai, the Carroccio economist, who invokes an operation of truth. The real enemy of the Pnrr is whoever continues to consider it as a totem rather than a tool to be adapted.

An invitation to collaboration between Rome and Brussels comes from the EU commissioner for economic affairs, Paolo Gentiloni, who assures: The Commission works together with the Italian government to implement the Pnrr, an antidote to stagnant growth. From the opposition Francesco Boccia (Pd) accuses the government: The Pnrr is seriously at risk. Another amendment introduces objectives of compliance with payment times for works for managers: a measure to give impetus to the Pnrr, which is showing various critical issues, forcing the government into difficult negotiations with the EU which ended, among other things, to slow down the process of the decree, expected in the Senate hall on 12 April.
