The draft with the requests of the ministries
The text circulated in the last few hours speaks of 3,000 new hires in the Public Administration between now and 2026. Scrolling through the tables attached to the draft, you can see the requests for personnel from the individual ministries: 301 for the Interior, 11 for Culture, 20 for Infrastructure, 210 for Foreign Affairs, 103 for Agriculture, 4 for the Environment, 4 for Universities and Research, 2 for the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, 350 officials for Labor, 142 for Tourism, 49 for Health. The regions, provinces and municipalities, until 31 December 2026, can proceed, within the limits of the available places of the current staffing endowment, to stabilization – reads the draft -, in the position held, after a selective interview and the outcome of the evaluation of the work carried out, of non-managerial personnel hired on a fixed-term basis who have served for at least 36 months. The hiring of personnel referred to in this article is carried out on the basis of the hiring powers of each administration available under the legislation in force at the time of stabilization.
The observatory hypothesis
Again according to the text that government sources indicate as the old draft, the National Public Work Observatory should be set up in the public function department of the Prime Minister’s Office. Its task would be to promote the strategic development of the integrated plan of activities and organization and the initiatives to address smart working, organizational innovation, performance measurement and evaluation, training and enhancement of human capital, as well as to guarantee the full application of the activities monitoring of the effective usefulness of the formalities required by the plans not included in the plan, also with specific regard to the impact of the reforms in the field of public administration.
