Sgarbi: “I asked Berlusconi to bring Santoro to Mediaset”

“I said to Berlusconi: why not give four or five episodes to Santoro on the Mediaset networks? Almost all the presenters of insights currently on the air are students of Santoro but they are all completely aligned, in particular on the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and on sending arms from Italy. A transversal thought like Santoro’s could be useful. And he seemed interested in this suggestion. I think he’s thinking about it. If anything comes of it, it will depend on them”. This was revealed to Adnkronos by undersecretary Vittorio Sgarbi, linked by a long friendship with both the leader of Forza Italia and the journalist.
As is known, Berlusconi and Santoro have different ideas on many things, however Santoro has already worked for Mediaset with ‘Moby Dick’ at the end of the 90s, with insights into the war in Kosovo, and the episode conducted live from the Brankov bridge in Belgrade. “Today it could make an important contribution to understanding the Russian-Ukrainian conflict”, adds Sgarbi.
“Going to the Mediaset networks, I realized that there is a single thought that does not reflect Berlusconi’s. It seems strange to me that Berlusconi is unable to communicate his pacifist position and concerned about a nuclear conflict on the networks he owns”, he concludes Rude.
