The fight against the mafias, he added, “is not done by raising the ceiling on cash, it is not done by acting to weaken the protections of legality in the procurement code. It is done with a major operation of greater transparency and control, of greater training, right from schools and within public administrations, with a battle that is also cultural”.

Schlein, the Democratic Party and performance anxiety
