Salvini and the German obsession

Someone in the Italian center-right had already tried it with the Pnrr: since the Germans intend to change theirs, we too want to change ours. Then it turned out that the adjustment proposed by Berlin was only of a technical nature and concerned, among other things, a 25 billion resilience plan against that almost eight times larger, i.e. 191.5 billion, of Italy . Today Rome returns to the office without knocking on Brussels but beating cash directly from Germany. The idea came from Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini who, after the heavy clashes between the “fans”, inverted commas are de rigueur, of Eintracht Frankfurt and those of Napoli asked that Olaf Scholz’s government pay the damages. The procedure is flawed at the outset because first you clean your own home, then you ascertain the responsibilities of the foreign guest and only then, if necessary, you ask for damages. This is how it works in civil proceedings but Italy, as we know, does not shine in Europe for the functioning of its courtrooms.
