There are 400 recruitments in Italy that the Prada group is planning for 2023 and which will be concentrated in the industrial areas of Marche, Umbria and Tuscany. The goal is to “strengthen production capacity to support the growth highlighted by recent results,” reads a note from the group.
“The Prada Group continues to invest in its production chain, in line with what was announced at the end of 2021 during the Capital Markets Day – he declared Massimo Vian, Industrial Director of Prada SpA —. The more than 400 hires will be strategic for the growth of the group in the coming years and the Prada Group Academy will play an increasingly fundamental role for our development and for that of the Italian productive fabric of the sector. We consider it our duty to train young talents and keep craftsmanship alive».

There will be around 100 new hires in Scandicci (FI), leather goods division, where the workforce will grow by 50% while 30 resources will be trained thanks to the Prada Group Academy to which a permanent location will be dedicated within the Scandicci factory, with a Leather Goods School for young people craftsmen.
In the province of Siena, in Piancastagnaio, still in the leather goods sector, there are 50 hires for an overall growth of the current workforce of 50% while in the province of Perugia, for the Torgiano factory which deals with knitwear, 85 people are expected to be hired by November.

Another 70 hires are distributed in the industrial offices dedicated to leather goods between Figline (FI), Arezzo (AR), Terranuova Bracciolini (AR) and Milan (MI), while in footwear they are 76 the new hires in Buresta (AR), Levane (AR), Foiano della Chiana (AR), Montegranaro (FM). In clothing they are 68 the new hires in Bucine (AR), through the acquisition of a current supplier of the Prada Group, in Fucecchio (FI), Città di Castello (PG), Montone (PG) and Ancona.
