Post-Berlusconi between Fascina, Tajani and Ronzulli: what will happen?

The political journey of FI after the death of Silvio Berlusconi has officially begun. In fact, the new treasurer of the party will be Fabio Roscioli, formerly Berlusconi’s lawyer and a man very close to the family. He will take the place of Alfredo Messina, who will become a permanent member of the Presidential Committee. For the moment, the deputy will not have any official role in the party even if the men close to her, starting with Tullio Ferrante and Alessandro Sorte, continue to mark the territory. And if Tajani continues to highlight «the sentiment is one of great unity, the desire to work together» albeit with «some differences of ideas», it is Licia Ronzulli, group leader of FI in the Senate, albeit without naming names or stirring up controversy, put some stakes. “We are a party that welcomes, welcomes back and does not reject, but a selection is needed,” she says speaking at the assembly, complimenting Antonio and Fulvio Martusciello for having welcomed the former Pd Caterina Chinnici into the blue group in Brussels.
