Two amendments to the decree on the Pnrr were presented in the Senate by representatives of the League and FdI to circumvent the Cartabia reform and bring back the ‘revolving doors’ between politics and the judiciary. This was denounced by Action Justice manager Enrico Costa who presented a parliamentary question on this. The two amendments, writes Costa on Twitter, «were specifically cut out to allow the magistrates at the top of the ministries to immediately return to the Courts and have managerial positions. And maybe judge your political opponents».

The proposed modifications “for now have been considered unthinkable, but the intention”, assures Costa, “is to re-present them within the next week in another measure”. “Is Minister Nordio aware of what this ‘expert little hand’ is doing?” the Action deputy asked.
