Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni and French President Emmanuel Macron will meet tomorrow afternoon at the Elysée. This was announced by the French presidency itself. The Prime Minister will be in Paris tomorrow to promote Rome’s candidacy for Expo 2030. The meeting will be preceded by a statement to the press. Macron and Meloni, the note explains, will discuss bilateral relations between France and Italy, in particular the implementation of the Quirinale Treaty. They will address European issues and will take advantage of this meeting to prepare for the European Council which will be held in Brussels on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 June. They will also discuss the NATO summit to be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 July. The discussions, the note concludes, will offer an opportunity to reaffirm joint support to Ukraine on the military, humanitarian, economic, diplomatic and judicial fronts.
