Meloni sees Macron: the meeting tomorrow at the Elysée

The premier flies to Paris to participate in the presentation of Rome’s candidacy for Expo 2030. She will be received by the French president to talk about the Quirinale Treaty, the next European Council and the NATO summit in July

The President of the French Republic, Emmanuel Macronthe Prime Minister will receive tomorrow Giorgia Meloni in Paris. This was announced by the Elysee, explaining that the meeting “will discuss the bilateral relations that unite France and Italy, and in particular the implementation of the Treaty of the Quirinal“.

Macron and Meloni “will discuss about European issues and they will take advantage of this meeting to prepare for the European Council which will be held in Brussels on Thursday 29 and Friday 30 June”. They will also discuss “the NATO summit to be held in Vilnius, Lithuania, on Tuesday 11 and Wednesday 12 July”. Furthermore, the meeting will be “an opportunity to reaffirm the common support for Ukraine on the military, humanitarian, economic, diplomatic and judicial aspects”.

Meloni will be in Paris to participate in the presentation of the candidacy of Rome at Expo 2030 at the general assembly of the Bureau International des Expositions which will be held tomorrow, alongside the mayor of Rome Roberto Gualtieri and the president of the Lazio Region Francesco Rocca.
