Meloni’s press conference after the European Council

Giorgia Meloni takes stock with journalists after the extraordinary European Council in Brussels. “I am very satisfied”, said the Prime Minister tonight, on the sidelines of a summit marked by the presence of Volodymyr Zelensky and by the controversies with Macron, defined as “inappropriate” by the premier herself, for having organized a trilateral meeting in Paris with the chancellor Olaf Scholz and the Ukrainian president. A meeting to which Italy was not invited.
