The Italian premier has a 48% approval rating and is the first European leader in the standings. In front of her, in fact, are the Indian prime minister, Narendra Modi – in office since 2014 – who stands out with 76% approval. Followed by the president of Mexico, Andrs Manuel Lopez Obrador – who has led the Central American nation since December 2018 – with 65%. Virtual bronze medal in this ranking for Anthony Albanese, Australian prime minister since last May: he, with 59% approval, anticipates Meloni.

And the main world leaders? The president of the United States, Joe Biden, sixth with 42%. Canadian Justin Trudeau is seventh with 40%. The Spaniard Pedro Sanchez is only tenth with 37%.
