The eldest daughter and the last companion of Silvio Berlusconi entered the funeral of the ex prime minister hand in hand, and together they caressed the coffin before it left the Piazza del Duomo

Hand in hand. To offer support, in the moment of a pain that was somehow expected, but for which it was not possible to fully prepare.

Marina Berlusconi and Marta Fascinathe eldest daughter and last life partner of Silvio Berlusconi, thus entered the Milan Cathedral, supporting each other, at the funeral of the former premier.

Seated next to each other, along the first row of seats, very close to Berlusconi’s coffin, they tried to contain their emotion – inexorably succeeding only at times.

Until the final greeting, when Fascina, again in tears, bowed down to caress Berlusconi’s coffin and kiss it, before he left the square of the Milan Cathedral, amidst the choruses and applause of the crowd that had come to greet the former president of the Advise.

After her, Marina, together with the Piersilvio brothers, Barbara, Beatrice and Luigi, caressed the coffin. Luigi, Barbara and Piersilvio greeted the square, thanking it. Marina, next to her father’s coffin, was still shaking her head, as if incredulous.
