A real ultimatum therefore, even if Giuntoli continues to remain at the top of Juventus’ wish list. However, the long wait is becoming exhausting and the Bianconeri’s position is clear: either we all leave together or we expect, with the Tuscan executive in any case sure, one day to move to Turin given a contract already drawn up and only left to be signed.
A step forward by De Laurentiis is therefore necessary, who has now deprived his old sporting director of authority: the president of Napoli has chosen the new coach (Rudi Garcia) in total autonomy and is always personally carrying on the Azzurri market.

The new company

In the meantime, Juventus has outlined its organizational chart, both at a corporate and sporting level. Manna and Tognozzi will take care of the market, Cherubini will supervise the youth sector, Claudio Chiellini will lead the U23, all under the eyes of Francesco Calvo, leading the entire sports area. Giuntoli would be the missing piece of the puzzle. If he were to be released after June 30, the manager would risk insult, as he would be out for a year (with the unknown future). De Laurentiis would therefore be forced to pay the previous year and also the last year of the contract, over a million that the blue president could save. The feeling is that everyone agrees that the deal will unlock, but one last step is still missing.
