On the Ariston stage, Rai did hidden advertising on Instagram. This is the accusation leveled at public television by the Communications Authority, which approved by majority, with the Commissioner voting against Giomi, a fine of over 170 thousand euros to the Viale Mazzini company for the “violation of the provisions relating to the correct reporting of advertising messages” during the 73rd Sanremo festival. Furthermore, the Agcom Board, again by majority and with the abstention of the president and the vote against of the same commissioner, called Rai also for the presentation of Blanco who, during the event, destroyed the flowers set up on the stage by kicking them.

The violations ascertained in terms of hidden advertising – explains theAgcom in a note – “they concern five episodes of failure to indicate the insertion of advertising messages and the case of hidden advertising of the social network Instagram and the profile of the conductor Amadeus“. Several times, in fact, during the last edition the presenter, together with Gianni Morandi it’s at Clare Ferragnifrom the stage they broadcast live on their Instagram profiles with their smartphones.

As for Blanco’s performance, which destroyed the floral decoration on the Ariston stage, the Authority called Rai “for the lack of respect for human dignity and the incitement to violence and for not having complied with the obligations established by the current service contract, for the promotion and dissemination of contents that enhance the principles of protection of the legality and dignity of the person, as set out in the current service contract”.
