From Citizenship Income to Inclusion Allowance
With the conversion into law of the Labor decree, the transformation of the citizen’s income into an inclusion allowance is clearer, which will enter into force on 1 January 2024. Families with minors, disabled and over 60s will be able to benefit from it, to whom, with the amendments made by the Senate, there are also disadvantaged members included in treatment and assistance programs certified by the Public Administration.
Its value will be 500 euros per month plus the rent contribution (for regular leases) of 280 euros per month. It is, therefore, 6,000 euros a year plus 3,360 euros for the lease. The amount rises to 630 euros (7,560 per year) if the families are over 67 or seriously disabled, plus a 50 euro rent contribution (1,800 per year). But not only the economic value to change.
