“We asked to move the vote but they didn’t wait for us. There is no political problem, we are ready to approve the amendments and the provision”, says Fi group leader in the Senate Budget Committee

“Nothing happened. The Commission met this morning at 9, we were all present and we approved the provision with only a few amendments set aside. At 10.30 in the Chamber I spoke for the Forza Italia voting group Italy and I asked for at least a quarter of an hour to be moved because we had to hold a group meeting for other reasons and for other issues. But the Budget Committee met and unfortunately did not wait for the quarter of an hour and the vote it’s over 10 to 10”. The fact is explained by Dario Damiani, FI group leader in the Senate Budget Committee, where today the majority did not have the numbers to approve the package of amendments promoted by FdI on the Labor decree.

“There is no political problem, but only a group commitment that we had. We are ready to revote, to return to the Commission, and to approve the provision in the Chamber without problems, as declared in the general discussion this morning”, adds Damiani.
