Federalism, Calderoli accelerates on differentiated autonomy. The Democratic Party: ignores Parliament and local authorities

ROME – It will be the first political controversy to face in 2023. Differentiated autonomy – that is, that à la carte federalism which will allow the Regions in a different way (differentiated indeed) to “reign” over their own territory taking greater responsibility for school, cultural heritage, infrastructure and transport, health care – triggers the clash on New Year’s Eve.

The Pd denounces the irrituality with which Roberto Calderolithe Northern League “caterpillar”, Minister of Regional Affairs and Autonomy, has kept the promise he had made to the governors of Veneto, Lombardy and Piedmont: that is, to present the government’s bill by 31 December.
