Differentiated autonomy rejected: “Risk of increasing inequalities”

«The Italian #Constitution, in the third paragraph of article 116, provides for “forms and particular conditions of autonomy” for the regions with ordinary statute – the note from the Senate begins – The bill AS 615, presented on 23 March by the Minister for regional affairs and autonomy, defines the general principles for the implementation of this differentiated autonomy”. Here arises a question, obviously rhetorical: “But will it be possible to achieve it without burdening the state coffers and continuing to ensure the Essential Levels of Services (#LEP), which constitute the insurmountable nucleus of those civil and social #rights, provided for by the Constitution, which must be guaranteed throughout the national territory, in order to provide all citizens with fundamental services, from #healthcare to # education?”». This is the message, published on Linkedin, with which the Budget Service of Palazzo Madama criticizes the Calderoli bill.
