When Cristina Tajani, a 44-year-old Apulian (born in Terlizzi) came to hold a leading role in the Municipality of Milan, it was the years of the so-called "orange movement". It was Giuliano Pisapia mayor who gave her a job as councilor for productive activities and labour, and in that 2011 her closeness to Nichi Vendola, leader of SEL, one of Pisapia's first supporters, certainly had a weight. The origin from left-left
Cristina Tajani represented in herself a small revolution at Palazzo Marino: she came from the "left-left", she was a woman and she was very young. From Pisapia to Sala
On a political level, it has made its way within the left, but not without breaks. First she makes her way among the young people of the Communist Refoundation, then she chooses Sel, while carrying out her duties as a researcher. In 2011 she was chosen as external assessor by Pisapia. With Vendola's party she breaks down when she decides to support Giuseppe Sala's race in the 2016 primaries. And with her Sala she is a candidate in his civic list, resulting in the first elected with 1,268 votes. With the first junta, Sala is thus reconfirmed the same role, this time as a politician and no longer as an external one.
Training: specialized in employment policies
On a professional level, his training is focused on sociology and work. She graduated in Economics and Social Sciences from Bocconi and became a researcher on Labor Policies at the Statale di Milano. She then comes to teach Urban Policies at the Milan Polytechnic. She was the Italian correspondent of Eiro (European Industrial Relations Observatory) for the three-year period 2007-2009 and consultant to the Ministry of Labour.
