Court of Auditors, convened extraordinary assembly of magistrates

This morning, at 10, an extraordinary meeting of the Magistrates Association of the Court of Auditors was convened. «On the agenda the discussion on initiatives following the amendments on the limitations of the functions of the Court of Auditors: concomitant control and tax shield (art. 1 , decree-law of 22 April 2023, n. 44, containing urgent provisions for the strengthening of the administrative capacity of public administrations CA 1114)”. This is what we read in a note from the Association.

The rule on the Court of Auditors, which ended up at the center of the debate, arrives in the Chamber of Deputies. The general discussion on the conversion of the decree on the Public Administration is scheduled today in the Chamber: at the end, the minister for relations with Parliament Luca Ciriani should raise the question of trust. The vote is scheduled for tomorrow, while, depending on the number of opposition agendas, the final vote should take place between tomorrow afternoon and Wednesday morning. With confidence, the government amendment would therefore be approved which excludes the concomitant control of the Court of Auditors on the projects related to the national recovery and resilience plan.
