Coca-Cola Hbc Italia has signed a new second-level supplementary contract: one of the main innovations is an increase in the production bonus up to 2,710 euros to support employee income. In agreement with the trade union organizations and the union coordination group, the company introduces a package of measures aimed at supporting the income of its people, for a better reconciliation between private and working life and professional development. Coca-Cola Hbc Italia, the main producer and distributor of The Coca-Cola Company brand products on the national territory, has signed, with the support of Assolombarda, the new second level supplementary contract with the trade union organizations Fai-Cisl, Flai- Cgil and Uila-Uil, confirming the strength and quality of existing industrial relations, aimed at supporting the business and the well-being of employees.

The pillars of corporate welfare

Income power, work-life balance and professional development are the pillars on which the initiatives introduced in the agreement are based and aimed at the people of the company who work at the Sesto San Giovanni headquarters, in the production plants located throughout the country and in the sales force. In terms of income power, the new supplementary agreement provides for a progressive increase in the production bonus (PPO) up to 2,710 euros in 2025 and in the value of company meal vouchers up to 10.5 euros in 2025, in addition to doubling the attendance for factory staff working in shifts. The company, in consideration of the excellent results achieved, also undertakes to disburse a sum that integrates 100% of the 2022 production bonus to all colleagues who can benefit from it. This part of the agreement also includes the Energy Green Bonus, an incentive aimed at promoting sustainable mobility among employees of the Sesto San Giovanni site, who will be granted a lump sum aimed at encouraging home-work travel through means of transport with a lower environmental impact.

Anti-discrimination training initiatives

Finally, focusing on the professional development of all Coca-Cola Hbc Italia people, the agreement also includes a chapter for the fight against gender discrimination and mobbing, with concrete measures to promote an inclusive and non-discriminatory work environment. There will therefore be initiatives and training on the inclusion of diversity, webinars on cyberbullying and wise use of social networks, moments of updating on Human Rights policies and the confirmation of a week of training dedicated to issues relating to Ethics & Compliance. The training of people has always been a priority for the company: in 2022 alone, over 50,000 hours of training and orientation courses were provided to more than 1,600 people at Coca-Cola HBC Italia. The new supplementary agreement is part of the broader corporate welfare plan of Coca-Cola HBC Italia which provides for up to 12 days a month of remote working, the Smart Working Etiquette to guide colleagues on the correct management and organization of work, a Employee Assistance Program (EAP), where colleagues and their families can receive help with reference to personal and work matters and training dedicated to managers to provide them with the necessary skills to monitor and safeguard the psychophysical well-being of the team. Added to these initiatives are the academies, training programs dedicated to various company functions (in particular the sales force, supply chain and digital and technology platform services), which allow colleagues to stay updated on key topics in the sector and develop new skills. All the initiatives adopted in support of employees have allowed Coca-Cola HBC Italia to obtain the Top Employer Italia award in 2023 for the eighth consecutive year.
