It is the day of the speech by Daniela Santanchè, Minister of Tourism in the Meloni government, in the Senate chamber. At 3 pm she will intervene for a report: she will have to provide clarifications regarding the allegations on the conduct of her business, advanced by the Report transmission. Visibilia, the group that Santanchè founded and of which she remained as majority shareholder and director until last year, is at the center of an investigation by the Milan prosecutor’s office for bankruptcy and false accounting that should not be closed before the end of the summer.

Schlein, other ministers have already resigned

«Santanché has to report on very serious matters that emerge from journalistic investigations but also that we as Pd discovered. In a question we asked about a loan that one of these companies allegedly received during the Covid of 2.7 million euros which would not have been repaid. There cannot be a minister who owes the state almost three million. They are facts for which other ministers in Italy and in Europe would have already resigned ». The secretary of the Pd Elly Schlein told Agorò on Rai 3. To those who asked if the Pd intended to present a no-confidence motion, Schlein replied: «We asked you to come and report to the Chamber. I already find it serious that I only come to the Senate and not to the House. We will listen and evaluate what to do.”
