Case green, the battle of Brussels
On 6 June in Brussels the countdown begins to arrive at the approval of the directive on so-called Green Houses to increase energy performance in buildings. The new rules, which are part of the strategy to make the EU climate neutral by 2050 and which has the intermediate objective of reducing emissions by at least 55% by 2030 (compared to 1990), are at the center of the first scheduled trilogue today on the revision of the Energy performance of buildings directive (Epbd), in turn included in the Fit to 55 package presented by the Commission to achieve the target.
