It is yesterday’s news that Massimo D’Alema, in his second life as a telephone switchboard operator (in the sense that he puts people in contact), is under investigation in Naples, together with Leonardo’s former administrator, Alessandro Profumo. A story that seems to have come out of the famous Totò film. In fact, one must really imagine this former Prime Minister being approached in March 2022 by two guys from Puglia who pose as “brokers” and tell him they want to buy military aircraft and submarines to sell to the (far-right) Colombian government. Since D’Alema (it has been said too much) arrives in a hurry, takes off in a flash, gets up abruptly, sits down with a bang and flies out the window, do you know what happens?
