Brief history of Massimo D’Alema, a Totò mistaken for Machiavelli

But it’s not that we thought it was Machiavelli and instead it was Totò, indeed, no: Decio Cavallo, the coach to whom Prince De Curtis sells the Trevi Fountain? It is yesterday’s news that Massimo D’Alema, in his second life as a telephone switchboard operator (in the sense that he puts people in contact), is under investigation in Naples, together with Leonardo’s former administrator, Alessandro Profumo. A story that seems to have come out of the famous Totò film. Even if, in truth, it is still not clear whether D’Alema is in fact the one who sells the Trevi Fountain, or the one who, on the contrary, buys it.
