The two exponents of the centre-left, Stefano Bonaccini (President of the Emilia Romagna Region) e Beppe Sala (mayor of Milan) are the most popular local administrators in Italy. To establish it
Governance Poll 2023
published on Sole24Ore of today.

Among the regional governors, Bonaccini collects 69% of the preferences and obtained the first position in the standings with an increase in consensus of 17.6% compared to the moment of his election. Leap forward, therefore, for the Emilian president who took third place last year. To give up the top step of the podium is the Venetian governor Luca Zaia, which in any case obtains significant appreciations with its 68.5% and, therefore, is “settled” for second place. This year the third position is held by the president of Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Massimiliano Fedrigawith 64% (slightly down on last year).

The least “popular”, however, are the governor of Sardinia, Christian Solinaswhich registers 35% and the Apulian Michele Emiliano, stopped at 43%. In the top ten positions of the Regions there are all members of the centre-right and only one other member of the dem: it is Vincent DeLuca, president of the Campania Region, which reaches ninth place with a 54.5% consensus. Worth noting is an ex-aequo in fourth place with 59% approval for the two centre-right non-League governors, Roberto Occhiuto (Calabria) and John Toti (Liguria).

Between mayors
at the top is the Milanese Beppe Sala which increases its consensus by 7.3% compared to the day of the election and gains three positions compared to last year’s fourth. Second place for Marco Fioravanti of Ascoli Piceno (centre-right) with 64.5%, followed by the two centre-left mayors: the Bari Antonio Decaro with 64% and Parma Michael War with 63%, which is in fourth place ex aequo with Louis Brugnarocenter-right mayor of Venice who in Governance Poll 2022 occupied the first position.

The least popular mayor is the Northern League Marco Guarente, mayor of Potenza, who receives 42% of preferences. In the top ten mayors, the centre-left beats the centre-right 7 to 2, with the tenth place occupied by the Clement Mastellamayor of Benevento with 59%.
