The third night in intensive care passed peacefully, according to health sources. “You have rested well. I am in contact with family. They are optimistic,” said the foreign minister. Letta: “I found him better than I thought. You will be back on the pitch”

Serious but stable conditions: cautious optimism accompanied Silvio Berlusconi’s third night in hospital, hospitalized since last Wednesday in intensive care at the San Raffaele hospital in Milan, following a lung infection. The former prime minister suffers from chronic myelomonocytic leukemia. “He rested well” and ”he says he feels good, it’s a good thing,” he said Antonio Tajani. “I didn’t hear from him this morning, it’s not right to tire him”, but “I’m in contact with the family, with Dr. Zangrillo”. Meanwhile, “treatments continue”, Berlusconi “has always managed to overcome the disease” and “everyone is optimistic, they trust in his courage and in his strength, he will return soon”, added the Foreign Minister and Deputy Prime Minister.
