Yes, because we are human beings: and if there was affection, a deep feeling to bind two people, you cannot reset it, we are not robots. Then, honestly, you could have clashed with Berlusconi, argued, but it was difficult to erase him forever. You loved it or you hated it. And I invested in everything, of course. It was my old life, now dead with him.

Naturally, there is also room for an ex post judgment on Berlusconi’s political choices. It’s not up to me to give it now. But every time I didn’t agree, even though it didn’t count for anything, having no role, I said it. In recent times, I was also breaking his soul, really a lot, about certain Northern League follies, about certain mistakes. And I really think he couldn’t take it anymore. Human. But I was honest, in joy and dissent, he knew it.
