Yesterday the fourth medical bulletin recounts a clinical picture that does not give cause for concern. “At the moment the clinical state and the response to treatment have allowed the transfer of President Silvio Berlusconi to an ordinary hospitalization ward – reads the note released by the health staff who took care of him, coordinated by Professor Alberto Zangrillo and Professor Fabio Ciceri -. Therefore, the treatments and monitoring of functional parameters continue.

The former Prime Minister has been hospitalized at San Raffaele since 5 April following pneumonia, a complication of chronic myelomonocytic leukemia from which he has been suffering for some time.

There were also many visits from family and friends yesterday. Among the first to show up at San Raffaele is Orazio Fascina, father of the leader’s partner. His lifelong friend, Fedele Confalonieri, and his children Pier Silvio, Luigi and Marina also returned to the hospital.
