Autostrade, with the renewal of the contract, an increase of 250 euros for 13 thousand employees

An increase of 250 euros is on the way for the 13,000 employees of Autostrade e Trafori. Filt Cgil, Fit Cisl, Uiltrasporti, Sla Cisal and Ugl Vibilità have reached an agreement with the employers’ associations Federreti and Acap (Association of private motorway concessionaires) to renew the contract that expired for almost a year.

The economic part

The new agreement will be valid from 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2025 and, over the three-year period, provides for a salary increase of 250 euros at level C. Of these 210 euros will be on the minimum wages divided into 60 euros in August 2023, 50 euros in January 2024, 30 euros in August 2024 and 70 euros in January 2025.

Welfare and one-off

To the increase on the minimums, a 10 euro increase in the 2019 IDR (Distinguished amount of remuneration) must be added to level C from January 2024, for a total amount of 25 euro, which becomes useful for calculating the severance pay. An additional 30 euro of welfare was then provided for 12 months for each year starting from January 2024, for a total annual amount of 360 euro. Also for the economic part there will also be a One-off at level C of 700 euros which will come with the salary for this July, as well as 300 euros of welfare, again as a One-off.

The regulatory part

On the regulatory side, various improvements have been introduced on maternity and paternity leave, on the FTH and part-time regulations and on the behavior for serious illnesses. Finally, any penalty was excluded for new hires in the sector. For Filt Cgil, Fit Cisl, Uiltrasporti, Sla Cisal and Ugl Viabilities it is “an important result that allows workers in the sector an important recovery of purchasing power in this particular moment of high inflation”.
