Happy birthday Roberto Gualtieri! For his fifty-seventh birthday, the Lazio Regional Administrative Court gave the mayor of the capital the best gift. While about sixty people - staff, cabinet, shop assistants and employees - gathered in front of a fruit cake in the Sala degli Arazzi for a frugal toast, the news arrived at Palazzo Senatorio from the administrative court: appeals against the waste-to-energy plant (and the other plants of the Rome waste plan) presented by the committees, by the environmental associations and by the Municipalities of Albano, Ardea and Ariccia were rejected as “totally unfounded”.
