38 resigned from the Boards of Modena-Corriere.it

The landslides and spills from Action continue, the party of Carlo Calenda, after the break with Italia viva. This time the farewell concerns 38 members of the provincial executive of Modena, including Pietro Borsari, city secretary of Modena: “We no longer feel representative of a party which, despite being born with the aim of being a libdem and reformist aggregating force, has decided to adopt an isolationist line – they explain in a note – . We feel that we have invested energy, enthusiasm and commitment into a project that has lost its original vocation. It is impossible for us to continue to represent this party on the ground”.

The resignation comes a short distance from the announcement, made by Matteo Renzi, of the deputy’s arrival in Italy alive NaikeGroupioni and Giulia Pigoni, the former former secretary of Action and the latter regional councilor in Emilia-Romagna, who grew up in the Leopolda but then became the right-hand man on the territories of Matteo Richetti, group leader of Action in the Chamber. Both had recently expressed dissent towards the Calenda line.

Gianluca Susta, who in the last few hours has also chosen to break with the ex-minister abandoned the role of regional secretary in Piedmont: «I remain in the party because I share its values. However, I do not agree with the line of rupture with Italia viva because I support the need for a recomposition of the liberal democratic area and therefore I believe I am not the most suitable person to represent the party line in the area ».
