With Juventus, sports justice continues the farce

Someone calls it a maximum fine. Someone else points out that Cristiano Ronaldo earned 718,240 euros in a week and therefore of maxi there would be only the umpteenth mess of a sports justice who in the end did only one thing right: he put an end to a story that will have to be studied in the future as a perfect example of mismanagement in Italian football. The Federal Court yesterday ratified the agreement already found between Juventus and the prosecutor of the Italian Football Federation, resolving the dispute with the club with an administrative fine for the club and the defendants. The Juventus club points out that the amount of the settlement may seem minimal but that in the end the team had already been penalized by 10 points (accounted for in the eighty million lost due to the lack of qualification in the Champions League which had arrived on the field).
